This song, like "Medical Weed", was almost never released, and without pressure from my friends to "hurry up and finish that reggae cd already" you probably wouldn't be sitting here reading about some obscure white boy writing iffy reggae tunes. This was only the third reggae song I'd written, and the future of Kunubu rested on whether I had the dedication to finish this song.

My major regret with this song is the bass line. I wish I were a little more dynamic with my fills and such, and that I had focused more on playing a simple bass part than creating some pseudo-ornate line to show off. I guess I had something to prove, to myself and others, about my bass playing. I was still learning about what it means to be a bassist in the mix of a "group", and I think I got a little too ambitious with it.

Overall this is one of my favorites, the parts where I'm off-time still bug me though, but I like the vibe of the song. Minor key, but not dark, sad, or angry.
