Disquiet Junto Association for communal music/sound-making. (Please read the Info tab before posting. All Disquiet Junto tracks are based on specific projects.)
Built around a contact mic recording of a heating baseboard at end of operational cycle (forced hot water/oil furnace). Monotron and circuit bent voice changer feedback added. The Monotron tracks were played through piezo driven objects (a thin plastic candy tray mostly--one part through a toy "echo" spring reverb mic). So piezo in, piezo out for wide spectrum sound--bwahahaha . . . Most of the add on parts sound more or less distinct from the baseboard recording. One is an imposter, trying to pass itself off as not added on.

@TED JAMES: HVAC, plumbing, poltergeists--it's all good.

I've always been a fan of the sounds of heating systems

I love those sounds of thermal expansion/contraction. Nicely done.

@matthew barlow: Thanks. This was a very quiet/loud sound to use as a base.
I've been afear'd to hear what all you other Juntoists have done--both in terms of field rec. and layering. A world of good stuff awaiting . . .
Here as I said in the notes, there's one imposter track--a clicking sort of pulse playing to the right. That one scares me as I know this baseboard sound too well and yet the imposter seems to be part of it (even though it isn't).
