      This beat, combined with the horn reminds me too much of Enya!

    2. kronsilds on October 27, 2009 22:33

      @fatphil: hahaha, and now, hope it doesn't anymore

    3. kronsilds on October 28, 2009 06:45

      @kronsilds: I have change it, no more beat here

    4. fatphil on October 28, 2009 09:25

      This needs a boom! splash! or something

    2. kronsilds on October 28, 2009 06:47

      @fatphil: added a cymbal crash

    3. fatphil on October 28, 2009 09:34

      @kronsilds: It's better but I think it's clipping. or maybe that's just my bassy headphones

    4. kronsilds on October 28, 2009 11:37

      @fatphil: ho, strange! My mastering tool doesn't go into the red...

    5. fatphil on October 30, 2009 23:57

      @kronsilds: clipping is fixed :o)

      needs more variety here

    2. kronsilds on October 28, 2009 06:50

      @fatphil: I have added some others calm place a bit later, and change a bit the chaos pad

      Nice breather. What's the metal hammer sounding percussion you use here?

    2. kronsilds on October 28, 2009 11:38

      @fatphil: it's a µTonic sound :)

    1. fatphil on October 27, 2009 14:19

      this "breathing space" is too short and comes in a little too late. Or maybe the previous section just needs a little more variety

    2. kronsilds on October 28, 2009 06:50

      @fatphil: doubled

      I like the spin-up sound here

    2. kronsilds on October 28, 2009 07:43

      @fatphil: ho, I think I moved it away

      I'm not sure we learn anything new from this point on. I think I would have ended the song here, by joining the previous calm section with your final end section. But it is a a very chillout track so it doesn't matter if it's longer anyway :o)

    2. kronsilds on October 28, 2009 11:41

      @fatphil: hahaha! You're right. That was just because with doubling the length of the calm part, the final full part was just too short. Instead of removing it...

      I like this calm bit, maybe you can use it in the middle too, as the mix is very full at the moment :)

    2. kronsilds on October 28, 2009 07:44

      @fatphil: I put it in the middle of the track. Therefore, I've allonged the track a bit

      I would have brought the high strings in at a different point to the vocal to add interest

    2. kronsilds on October 28, 2009 07:49

      @fatphil: right. They are one bar late maybe

      I think you could add a whole other interesting part from here. The piano feels sad that you stopped it here. The piano wants to go on.! Free the piano!!!

    2. kronsilds on October 28, 2009 07:47

      @fatphil: hahaha ! okay, I will

      I just imagined these two being a soundtrack to a game. There's, like, a sad and dark world, and a light rainbowy one. Both totally deserted.

    2. kronsilds on October 09, 2009 20:09

      @Wazuhiru: yes I can imagine that too! I'm happy that my music can create mindscape

      Nice, I like this. Normally this would be a bit too 'Windham Hill' for my liking. But there's something else going on here.....

    2. kronsilds on October 09, 2009 20:13

      @Roof Light: yeah I see what you mean! May be it's because there's no pad? :D Anyway, Windham Hill was a great label ;)
