Charles Fortier AKA Kressel, has been inspired by electronic music since the end of the 90s. He then discovered and mastered electronic music production software programs like Ableton Live to express musical feeling electronically. A big influence on Charles work is the KOMPAKT record label, Perlon, Resopal, Trapez, Drumcode and it covers the entire sound of techno genres. Submerged by the minimal techno movement he always try to follows techy, loopy, trancy, deep and psycho path in compositions. With collaboration with Joystick in the process, it leads to some of the twisted beats in the techno genre. With releases on Doot, Aenaria and Minimal Brain Damage and good reviews from the like of M.I.D.I. and Reggy Van Oers, it is only the beginning for the techno passionnate.

Charles Fortier alias Kressel, fut inspiré par la musique électronique depuis la fin des années 90. Il a ensuite découvert et manipuler certains programmes de sons tel que Ableton Live pour exprimer des émotions électroniquement. Ces grandes influences furent les étiquettes Kompakt, Perlon, Resopal, Trapez et Drumcode qui couvrent un vaste territoire de sons techno. Submergé par la scène techno minimale, il parcours une voie, techy, loopy, trancy, deep et à la limite psycho dans ses compositions. Avec ses dernières collaborations avec Steve Fortin alias Joystick, le mix donne un techno avec du mordant. Des parutions sur Doot, Aenaria et Minimal Brain Damage ainsi que des critiques favorables en europe par Reggy Van Oers et M.I.D.I., ce n'est qu'un début pour ce passionné de techno.
