About
About Kraken Recordings:
Formed in 2006, Kraken Recordings is the first Danish label specialising in Dubstep and progressive sounds beyond. Based in the capital city of Copenhagen, Kraken Recordings is operated by OHOI! – an award winning crew of four producers, DJs and event organizers.
Kraken Recordings mission:
Kraken Recordings will provide a solid opportunity for Danish and International artists to attain worldwide exposure, while introducing Denmark as a significant music factor in the global Dubstep and Bass Music communities.
The Kraken:
The Kraken is a legendary sea monster of gargantuan size, for centuries said to have been seen off the coasts of Scandinavia,
pulling vessels and seamen to a cold and dark grave. The extreme size and fearsome appearance attributed to the beast have made the Kraken the most feared creature of the sea. Kraken derives from the old Scandinavian word “krake”; designating an unhealthy animal, or something twisted.
