The US Supreme Court could issue its ruling on same sex marriage in the next 6 months. The high court announced Friday it will hear a pair of cases on the issue, including a California case challenging the state’s Proposition 8 ban on gay marriage, and a New York case challenging the Federal “Defense of Marriage Act”.
