I do feel it is important for the public to stand up to injustice. but i am so sick of this. The protesters on the first day had a genuine complaints, but now half the protesters are just using the event as opportunity to transgress against there own community; lighting trashcans on fire, looting, assault, willful destruction of there own city. this is not a holiday from the social contract. when you are wronged you don't fix things by behaving this way.
as the Yolanda put it THIS IS MY CITY!
