KousK is a classically trained composer, producer, performer and pianist currently residing in Calgary, Alberta. She has been playing piano since age 5 and is currently certified up to grade 8 from The Royal Conservatory of Music, with training and certification in Music Theory also from the RCM. She recently graduated from an Electronic Music Production Program at Langara College in Vancouver BC. With certification from this Electronic Music Production program she has gained the ability to compose, orchestrate and produce her own unique style of music through audio software, deeply routed in her classical piano background. Her current studies are focused on Music Cognition, Music as Therapy, and the evolutionary origins of music & its influence on human cultures.

After spending years observing the immense potential for transformation in sound and music, its bond with dance and the human spirit, the musical exploration project KousK was born...

The intention behind the music is to heal, transform, learn and play with consciousness. Through the understanding of sympathetic vibration, frequencies and sound healing; the vibrations of KousK are designed to change the disharmonious and awaken the dormant frequencies lying within the human body, mind, heart and spirit through sacred sonic entrainment. The goal of activating this process is to expand awareness, by providing an environment for humans to come together and celebrate life through music and dance.

Drawing inspiration from nature, human potential, Consciousness, vibration, Love, connection and community the music is organic, tribal, experimental, and open to all genres, styles, sounds and ideas. It is an adventure through a never-ending landscape of sound. From melodic dancing flutes to growling pumas to heavy basslines, the possibilites are endless.
