Konque is a label and music project with only one goal: To simultaneously mash existing forms of music inwards while expanding our own form of music outwards. We drop sonic concepts into the grinder, and as information sprays outward into the sky, we pick out constellations in the chaos and package them up for you. Shards of ideas you might hear within the music we make and release on our label: electro acoustic, techno, rocksteady, ska, bass music, modern classical, gamelan music, samba, salsa, etc.etc. But the end result is always something strange and unique.
