Kog Moorcroft is a Yorkshire based singer/songwriter who has been writing and performing as both a solo artist and member of noted bands, since a very young age. Coming from working class roots in Leeds, he has toured professionally across the length and breadth of the UK and is highly regarded by artists such as Alan Davey (Hawkwind), David Codling (Maha Dev – Quintessence) and Chris Britton (The Troggs) for his vocal talents, unique style, alternate tunings and his knowledge of late 60’s psychedelia and delta blues.

Writing mainly as a coping strategy to deal with his diagnosis, the songs are a bittersweet tapestry, delving into the dualities of personality and the darkness of the psyche, whilst at the same time reflecting the hope of recovery and the things that have helped and aided him in his journey.
