Ångstrøm aka [ɔŋstrø: m] stands for break beat sounding soul and soulful breakbeats in all its facets. Even as a rugrat records of Tamla Motown and Stax Records as well as various Rock & Roll samplers have inspired his childhood. Now, 30 years later his musical style moves somewhere between soul, nu-funk, tech house and breakbeat and convinces through diversity. Remixes of various evergreens in connection with electronic sound foods dominate his sets.

Originally from the Stuttgart area and over 10 years resident in Berlin, Ångstrøm is concentrating extensively on both, his soulful roots and contemporary electronic music. Already playing in various locations such as the Berlin club "Salon zur wilden Renate", the Sisyphos or even his second home "Naherholung Sternchen" as well as at the Stuttgart Artspace at Nordbahnhof he has taken alot of care for benevolent and happy faces on the dance floor.

Ångstrøm aka [ˈɔŋstrø:m] steht sowohl für breakingen Soulbeat, als auch für souligen Breakbeat in all seinen Facetten. Schon als Hosenscheisser haben Platten von Tamla Motown und Stax-Records sowie diverse Rock & Roll Sampler sein Kinderzimmer beseelt. Nun, 30 Jahre später bewegt sich sein musikalischer Stil irgendwo zwischen Soul, Nu-Funk, Techhouse und Breakbeat und besticht vorallem durch seine Diversität. Remixes verschiedenster Evergreens in Verbindung mit elektronischer Klangkost dominieren seine Sets.

Ursprünglich aus dem Großraum Stuttgart und seit gut 10 Jahren wohnhaft in Berlin beschäftigt sich Ångstrøm ausgiebig sowohl mit seinen souligen Wurzeln als auch mit zeitgenössischer Elektronischer Musik. In verschidensten Lokalitäten wie den berliner Clubs "Salon zur wilden Renate", dem Sisyphos, seinem zweiten Wohnzimmer "Naherholung Sternchen" als auch in der Stuttgarter Kunst- und Tanzenklave am Nordbahnhof hat er bereits für wohlwollen und zufriedene Gesichter auf der Tanzfläche gesorgt.
