Australia’s own Knowledge Bones has been on his grind for a minute now. But it’s been over the past twelve months that he’s been working on building a buzz into a boom. Signed to Melbourne based independent label Street Elite Records, Knowledge has been working hard to turn his debut solo release from a ‘hard drive project’ into reality and his team set the deadline for ‘Eyes on the Prize’ to finally hit the streets of Australia!

Knowledge is no new kid on the block – ‘Eyes on the Prize’ is his third solo release with his single ‘Hip Rock 101’ helping establish Knowledge in the Australian hip hop scene. Two independent mixtape releases titled Black Dundee I and Black Dundee II exhibit the true depth of the talented emcee.

Knowledge’s first solo release together with DJ Complex, under the name ‘High Definition’, issued the highly-praised ‘City of Lights’ LP. This was a significant release for Knowledge, showcasing the emcees writing and rhyming ability. Knowledge was also an impressive feature on Layla’s debut LP ‘Heretik’ joining Ciecmate and Newsense to collaborate on the ‘Matador Crushes’ track.

Born and raised in Perth Western Australia Knowledge was the winner of the Word War I emcee battle in 2003 and has opened for the likes of Grandmaster Flash, Naughty by Nature, Jin, as well as the Bugg’n festival for Method Man, Redman, DJ Premier and Rahzel.

A man who’s will to succeed is just as strong has his impressive rapping style, Knowledge Bones is an MC destined for great things, and, if his achievements are anything to go by, it won’t take him long to reach the hip hop summit!
