Björn Fogelberg is a Swedish music producer, web developer and writer.
Bjorn started producing electronic music on a Commodore 64 computer in 1985. As part of the so called scene he created music and graphics for demos and intros by the demo/cracker group known as XAKK, which he also was a cofounder of.
Since the mid 90’s he has released two commercial CDs, several digital tracks, been featured on various CD compilations and produced many remixes of other artists.
The style of his music has evolved over the years. The first album 64 (1996 XAKK Records) sounded clearly 80′s as it was inspired by his years as part of the Commodore 64 scene. The second album “Karooshi Porn” (Ninetysix Sounds/XAKK Records) had a more commercial, laid back sound that fit well into the late 90s ambient/electronica/techno vibe.
In 2005 Björn got his first electronic dance music release with the remix of the Deep Orbit (Damion Houchen/Genix) track “Revolver” for Dutch label KYR Records. Also in 2005 he resurrected XAKK Records as a digital label for releasing his own stuff and that of his talented friends.
Mind your matter (2006 XAKK Records) was played by some of the biggest DJs in the industry, like Armin Van Buuren (“One of my favourite tracks…”) and Markus Schulz.
“The black hole in my heart” (2006 XAKK Records) was supported by Matt Darey (“Loving this deep, dark and dirty progressive tune! Has my full support!”).
