Kls beatsdj it´s now based in Barcelona since four years ago, and he´s been dedicated to play drums in several bands and also to dj specially in contemporary art openings, private parties, and small clubs and pubs from Raval and Born. Now he´s actually organising parties throughout the city with “Ababol Party” where he´s been dejaying in clubs like “Angels & Kings” or doing underground parties in basements and underground locations like “Ferrockarril” “Inusual Proyect” “Bomba Ninja”, allways inviting other collectives in most of his shows and parties.
He´s set´s are also being used in performances done by the art collective AGGTELEK like in their performance “Bloxplot” presented in ARCO 08 or another performance for “ La noche en Blanco de Madrid 08”

Kls beats loves music, therefore his sets could go from the most clubbing house to techno, Italo disco or 80´s music. He´s been doing sets and special parties of 70´s funk music and soul, 80´s funk and grooves. Also including styles like Ghettotech or dub-step depending on the tipe of proyect or party.

Also working on a audiovisual project called “Familia Planas” where pictures of a rich family from the 1940´s found in a basement of a Squat-house in Barcelona, are proyected with a selection of texts from book of the post- Spanish civil war years. All with a live deejaying soundtrack made of experimental music and dub-step.

Churras con Merinas it´s another project between a visual artist Fito Conesa and Kls beats dj, where mashups, 80´s, remixes and visual fun predominates the stage. They been playing in places like the award ceremony of “Premio Miquel Casablancas 08 Barcelona” of contemporary art, The Olot´s video festival REC 08, and “Mucho Mas Mayo Festival 09” in Cartagena (Spain)

Kls beats is the founder of “ Ababol Party” where he organized parties and collaborated with artists like: Gersound (Sugerence Rec.) , El tigre de Santa Julia , Lucky Goodfellah, Zippitcher (PocoLabel), Oscarfly (Colors Open Label), Neiland, Dritosound, Paul Von Betta, Txema Junoy, Groovycosta (Electroclub), Sergio Patricio, Jesus del Cerro, Miss Erika, Alex Garcia, Dj Atun, Dj Tejon, Lectromind, Groovy Brothers, Ingacid.

Kls beats not only dj´s he is in touch every week with all electronic music events, concerts, and art shows, he´s been writing a weekly mailing and blog since 2 years ago, announcing the most underground and alternative happenings in Barcelona, with 400 readers in Facebook and over 500 mails.
