About

Klassy Dirt has been involved in the electronic music scene since 2002.Starting out on a set of belt drive turntables, he began spinning his way in to the Newfoundland underground house scene. After playing a few house parties, he made his way to his first club gig at Junctions afterhours alongside two legends, Slim Macho and DJ Kilo. In 2006 Klassy won the title of first place in the Rockstar Amateur DJ competition at Liquid Ice.Throughout the years he has destroyed dance floors at such venues as Liquid, Chill, The Gypsy Tea Room, The Basement, Junctions, Spin, The Grapevine and Club V.
Shortly after the DJ competition in 2006, Klassy Dirt packed up and headed west.During his 3 years in Edmonton, he had the opportunity to play several gigs including an opening slot for Bryon Cox at Diesel Ultra Lounge.
He has played alongside some of the world’s best DJ’s/Producers, including Bass Kleph, Jelo, Mike Balance, DJ Harri, Vandalism, Bryon Cox and Sydney Blu.
Over the years with much experimentation of sub-genres of house, Klassy has been able to fine tune his music into a unique blend of tech house with minimal and electro influences. But it doesn’t stop here. With much experience and appreciation for other genres, he has the ability to throw down any style of music that is sure to make you sweat.Keeping up to date with music internationally, he somehow is able to find that perfect mix of the sound that defines him.His passion for music is clearly reflected in the vibe that he creates on the dance floor. You can guarantee that he will throw the freshest, dopest, dirtiest, bangin tracks you’ll ever hear!
