Label boss Luca Lozano returns to Klasse Recordings for his third solo release, following on from the success of the 'Out of Step' EP Mr. Lozano serves up three original tracks for your listening pleasure.

The B.O.N.E.S EP was put together during a three month sabbatical, one in which Luca took time off from DJing, travelling and concentrated only on music production and the finalization of his debut album. The EP is a much welcomed result of his experimentation and increased studio-time over that period.

Soul123 is a juxtaposition of warm pads, melancholic melodies and aggressive basslines, a thugly groove providing the solid backbone of a track that plunders it's way forward. The track rises and falls into two main breakdowns, both intensifying the return of the Juno-esque bass that returns and demands the attention of the listener.

Skeleton Keys is a moody and intense track that involves similar bassnotes, skipping percussion and a slow, insistent kickdrum. Contrasting emotions are pitched against each other, fighting for space until they are met with a breakbeat-breakdown that takes the audience back to the bassline hook.

Fakie Snot Bubble is a direct and to the point, no frills journey into dancefloor territory. The elements are kept purposely sparse, disregarding any flashy production tricks, keeping things raw and stripped down. Once again, Lozano forces contrasting sounds against each other and takes the track from boneheaded to beautiful and back again.

    Enjoy!

    K.L.S.
