The latest musical incarnation from Singer/ Songwriter/ Multi Instrumentalist Kito Rodriguez is a culmination of 15 years of craft honing and dedication to his personal vision and passion for performing honest music with a positive message and attention to social awareness. Kito has toured the world as a Bass Guitarist including a 2009 Carnegie Hall performance with Tibetan Folk performance master "Techung". He has been given the "Hollywood stamp of approval" from Sony/Columbia pictures through receiving music cues on the film "Eat Pray Love" (directed by Ryan Murphy), he also performed on "The Dalai Lama Renaissance Soundtrack Album" Featuring the words and wisdom of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama, narrated by Harrison Ford as well as the documentary film; “A Good Day To Die” about the life of Native American leader Dennis Banks and the formation of the American Indian Movement (A.I.M.). "Consciouness Express" is Kito Rodriguez's funky, soulful and honest debut release as a solo artist and producer which takes the listener on a Tropical Funk Pop flavored ride with a socially conscious lyrical twist. Kito Produced and composed all songs and performed all instruments except Drumset on tracks 3, 5 & 6 which were performed by long time friend and collaborator Michel Tyabji (www.limitlesssky.net).

In addition to work as a freelance Audio Engineer, television Production Assistant (Nat Geo, Shed Media), consultant and assistant at Limitless Sky Records (www.limitlesssky.net). Kito has performed regularly as a bass guitarist with various L.A. based Indie groups such as Alex Painter and TJP (Friday performance at Google Headquarters), Essential MC (L.A. World Sacred Music Festival), Mayaztek (local clubs) and most notably with International Tibetan Folkloric performer Techung.

Ralph “Kito” Rodriguez is a multi- instrumentalist, singer/ songwriter, audio engineer and media producer currently based in the City of Burbank, California. Kito, originally from NYC, was born in East Harlem surrounded by the sounds of Salsa, Boogaloo, Hip Hop and Motown raised in Jamaica, Queens where he absorbed the Reggae, Soca, Calypso and Dancehall of the West Indian Community. As a youngster he trained as a Bass Guitarist, Guitarist, Singer, Composer and Latin Percussionist at: Johnny Colon’s East Harlem Music School, private instruction with Classical Guitarist Robert McDonald, Upright Bass Studies with Carlos Castillo at Nassau Community College and is a graduate of The Institute Of Audio Research (Audio Engineering and Music Production Program).
