About
KingTiger is a composer, writer, and arranger of electronic sounds, produced via real and virtual synthesizers, as well as some real sounds, like pianos and violins. He is a one-man show, using a keyboard and his computer to make music, and a whopping 3 keyboards and his voice to perform. (His computer is his back-up band).
His music has often been likened to that found in video games, and although that is not his intention, he isn’t too unhappy about it, seeing as he grew up Sonic the Hedgehog. Other acts that he (purposefully) emulates include synthpop artists, like Owl City and La Roux. He is also significantly influenced by positive rock groups, like Relient K and Switchfoot, and although you really won’t hear much rock’n’roll sounds in a KingTiger album, you will hear hints of rock rhythms.
KingTiger hopes that his music and lyrics make a positive impact on those he meets, and those who hear his music. He also hopes that YOU like his music, that it makes you think, and that you choose to listen to it more often :)
