M87 = the largest recorded black hole in the universe
A black hole sends out a series of wormholes all over the universe one of these wormholes happens to be on planet earth in south pasadena ca. We reside in a
building that connects to that wormhole. The massive amounts of energy produced here has been a magnet and fuel for the creative minded individual.
We are here to spread that energy to the world.
Blackhole Ent. was founded by Joshua Newborn in 2007 during a string of visits from musicians playing music in his living room. Joshua also known as Jaz1 is a veteran in the sound industry. He has worked with some of top names in Jazz music and Los Angeles hottest indie rock bands and currently works with the little temple (silverlake), noor(pasadena) and zanzibar (santa monica) With over ten years of live sound experience, Joshua has mastered the fine tuning of making any performance sound excellent.
He is also a veteran to the DJ world, with 15 years under his belt. Along side his roommate the infamous DJ BenThere, who spends most of his time touring the world rocking parties. These two gentlemen are rock solid with any genre of music when behind the turntables.
Also in alliance with us is Jaewon Choe, a musical mastermind and the black lion behind the band Weatherground.
And our most recent member is Mike Rodgers, Hailing from Indiana and one of the founding members of the band Afrodisiacs. Mike's performance abilities are nuclear and in the studio he kills it in one take. Check out some of Mike's music on our soundcloud page
