About

Kincaid Rabb is a composer, clarinetist, and collaborator currently living in Tucson, Arizona. Born and raised in Phoenix, Kincaid graduated from Arizona School for the Arts in 2012, studied at Glendale Community College in Glendale, Arizona, and is currently pursuing degrees in music composition and creative writing at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.

In 2011, Kincaid won second place in the Hillcrest Wind Ensemble's Call for Scores with his piece "Piper's March". In 2014, Kincaid won first place in the Maricopa County Community College District Artists of Promise competition in composition with his piece "Scenes from the Big Top". Kincaid has received premieres at the Orpheum Theatre and the Musical Instrument Museum, as well as at Glendale Community College. Kincaid is an active member of the chamber music community in Arizona, and collaborates with such ensembles as the Paradise Winds and the Doublers Collective.
