Here’s a new mix I’ve just finished. It’s composed of some deeper dubstep and what some people have labeled ‘future garage’. Whatever you want to call it I love this shit. It’s not music I play in club sets, but rather music that I have collected over the last couple of years simply for the love of it. I made this mix in the middle of things: on a plane, in a hotel room, in the studio waiting for files to bounce or download, and now as a new Dad, in between baby Ayanna sleeping and needing nappies changed.
For me this mix captures everything I’ve ever loved about music: dub, soul, New Jack Swing, techno, hip hop, dubstep, experimental electronica, drum and bass, ambient, whatever, it’s all there. And yes, as the title of the subject suggests, it’s full of soul. So much soul! You know a mix has soul (or at least I tend to think so anyway) when you can listen to it over and over again without getting bored. There is something there - beyond the genres or tracks themselves - that keeps you coming back for more.

Loved Vol. 2- was on heavy rotation in my player for months and months.. don't know why I never looked for Vol 1! Glad to be hearing it! This is the style of music that I have a deep seeded love for.. Thank you.
