Here's a new mix I've done for the dope blog Life Support Machine. I did it in lieu of my new EP - the 'Bass Music EP' - dropping on Klub Kids this month.
Bass music?
After 15 years of DJing I've come to realise that one of the things that I love more than anything about DJing is changing up styles and tempos when I play. It's the same when I produce. I think it keeps things interesting. Hence why I love the banner 'bass music'. It's an umbrella under which can be housed dubstep, drumstep, moombahcore, electro, glitch hop, drum and bass, future garage, and so on and so forth. Win win.
So anyway, with my EP about to drop and the year coming to a close I thought it apt some time to mix together some of my favourite bass tunes of 2011 (and a bit beyond). It's also the debut of three of the tracks off my new EP: 'Reach Up', 'OMG (TIBM)', and 'Bass Kick'.
