With a musical background heavily influenced by his constant travels and bohemian lifestyle, he has steadily made a name for himself as a VJ under VJ BXL and more recently as a DJ, heavily involved in Montreal's Speakeasy Electroswing nights and playing at this year's Tatanka and Pandemonium Electronic Music Festivals. He is a regular face behind the decks at the infamous Balkan Beats and Electroswing nights as well as other loft parties and underground psychedelic events - Khalil has been known for lightening up the dance floors in the early hours of the morning with a blend of different melodies, basslines, places and continents with stylistic elements of electronic and world music alike.
