About

Let me tell you a story about the beautiful tale of dance music…and how dance music changed one person’s mind, soul and life forever. For Khaled, the enthusiasm devoured by music began decades ago at the raw age of sixteen, when the unmanned decks at a party involuntarily became his own. Never turning back, vinyl soon became the staple of his diet. Formerly engaging in the energetic beats of trance and hard house, Khaled re-immersed himself in the dance music industry with the love of music that dwelled deep inside his soul: house music.

At the beginning of Khaled’s journey, music changed his life making everything melodical a priority. Saving pennies worth of hard earned money, Khaled began his musical campaign on a two-channel mixer and two cd players from the local electronics store. No pitch control or beat matching. Literally, the unversed inception. With a deluge of mobile gigs, this truly enthusiastic DJ began taking his zest into the clubs and his precious metals to the store for gleamed and untouched CDJ500’s. After hard work and much dedication Khaled’s vinyl aspiration came true when his once girlfriend now wife surprised him with the enviable Technics 1210’s. Leading the way down Oxford St, Khaled mesmerized those at the infamous DCM and NV clubs, until the music direction altered and electro became the style of choice, not only for venues but also fellow clubbers. Unable to fit the new piece of the puzzle in the ‘electro’ world, Khaled fell out of love with the music.

Fast-forward a few years? Khaled’s profile set itself in a different league- married, children, house, yet with an avid music collection still in the corner, burning to be seized once again. Twenty-one years down the road and Khaled’s dream organically blossomed with the love of genuine house music, in all of its beautiful forms. A long break with no gigs but two inspirational trips to the music haven of Ibiza drew on the dormant love of the genre that breaks hearts in all its glory. Taking inspiration from the industry’s beloved and credible Eric Prydz, Axwell and honest and valuable newcomers like Arno Cost, Khaled felt intrigued by the natural invitation to immerse himself back where he knew he harmonized.

The last four years have mirrored the unvarnished honesty to come from Khaled’s inspirational path down dance music’s hall of fame with an incredible natural progression into the studio where his love for the music proved everything. His first release cam in 2011, the enviable signing to Ibiza’s holy grail in Pacha Recordings where Khaled’s original musical work “All You Need Is Love” short-listed to the label’s Annual collection. With a repertoire of artists recognising the incredible talent and music to leave his studio, Khaled has brought 2013 to everyone’s attention having co-written Paulini’s second single ‘Heartbreak’. A string of original releases are also due to hit records labels shortly.

Following dreams and drawing inspiration from a bona fide passion for the music and its hues of house, the future in the studio is as warm as a Café del Mar sunset.
