Kevin Holt is a 21 year old Manchester artist inspired by eclectic sounds such as the iconic 80's synthesizers (Juno-60, Prophet 5, Jupiter 8) and chilled Ibiza house of the 90's, which surrounded his childhood and shaped his unique style. The fusion of warm trance synth and strong house beats in his latest releases 'Allergo/Aquaplane' (Out now on Skjni Records) & 'Haywire/Halcyon' (Protoxic Records) makes Kevin's music a must for those with a love for feel-good electronic music. Kevin's also works outside of his primary genres. 'Sudden Departure EP' is perfect example of this, trading the house beats for a more downtempo style, perfect to unwind to. Kevin is also studying Music Production at the rising northern modern Central Lancashire University, giving him a strong adverse style influenced by the myriad of genres he studies. His blase attitude towards the fusing of genres gives his tracks an aura of eccentricity, originality and style. When listening to his pieces, the chemistry of the tasteful mix of sounds gives a range of emotion, house to trance, chilled to euphoric, electric to dark. He has had his music used on all sorts of outlets from companies such as Solomon Freeski Finland, Aalto University and Hakema. Kevin has also created a remake of Nokia's iconic ringtone in his own style for Nokia and is available to download from the Ovi Store for free (Search 'Progressive Nokia').
