Born and raised in suburban Detroit, Kent Odessa began playing bass and keyboards at age 11, mainly influenced by 70's and 80's R & B. After putting out several EP's under the alias, Peephole, he released his debut, full-length album, "Silverdome," (under his own name) in late 2011, which garnered praise from various blogs and publications like The Village Voice, Esquire Magazine, Pigeons & Planes, Indie Shuffle, Knox Road Blog, yvynyl, and various others. His track, "Bo Jacksons," was later featured on French label Kitsune's "America 2" compilation and a remix of the song (by Hays Holladay) was included on their "Soleil 2" compilation.
Odessa is now finishing up his latest EP, "Physical Genius" which is due for release in June.
