About
Ken started his interest in dance music in late 2010 while working on a documentary about the Chicago nightlife scene. Diving deeper he discovered and enjoyed all the diverse genres and styles dance music has to offer. Early influences such as Deadmau5 and Funkagenda persuaded him to check out different artists. Many of Chicago's local DJ's had an impact on him, including Jai Sephora, Mike Hughez, Tommy O'Mozart, and Hard Mike. Inspired he took his dream to the next level. Through perseverance and practice Kennymester has been booked to play Vison Nightclub, V-Live, and NV Penthouse. Ken developed a style with strong roots in Tech House, Progressive, and Techno although his versatility allows him to play to all types of crowds. Determined to make his music heard, Ken is actively beginning to produce his own music and throwing his own events. One thing Ken will never give up is his originality, he strives to play a diverse and unique set every time he plays.

Wicked set man! Some awesome tracks in there.
@Mr No Hands: Hit me up if you want the stems.
@tigerfleet: Thanks for the compliment. I usually only produce house tracks so this is written in 2/4 time I think it fits the track well.
@4cr001: Thanks for compliment. This is the first Hip Hop track I've produced.
Sick lead, is it sampled or original?
Love this track! It's so pretty and has a nice calmness about it.
Added a new drop.
Added a better build up!
I would like to hear the lead line to be a little more pronounced in the track. Maybe brings up some of the drums too.
I love this remix. Who remixed it?
This is a cool track but I wish it wasn't so slow. Maybe speed it up a bit. Add some more energy to it.
This is one of the coolest songs I came across today. Love the horns used on the beat.
I like the glitchyness of this track but I don't hear any extra added elements to go with the track. Maybe some different drums?
I have to say I enjoy this version much better than the original. Great job with the guitar sounds. Are those midi or real recordings?
Love those hard lead lines in the track. Sounds like something from Daft Punk in Tron.
@Don Viviano: I got them from a sample pack and I processed it through a couple vst's.
Deep house is my stuff. This is a groovy track for sure. Did you sample this or is it all original?
The production on this track is wicked. Awesome variation in the beat. Not only that but the lyrics are awesome.
I wish I could hear the rest of the track. Its hard to listen to the lyrics subjectively without any other musical element.
The lyrics in this track are excellent. Really talented singer.
This remix is excellent. It has a haunting quality to it. Really drives the senses.
Love the break in between with the lower tempo. You almost don't see the other part coming and then it hits you.
Not to want to ruin the drum and bass feel, but I think this track would benefit from being slowed down a bit. It seems like you miss some of the sounds from being too fast.
The lyrics and beat are on point. I just wish the producer would change it up some more with the lead line. It gets a little repetitive over time.
I have no idea how you do those vocal glitches but I want to learn. I can tell there's some melody behind this instead of just random noises.
What a build up, had no idea this was coming from such a slow beginning. Awesome track!
Damn this track gets pretty grimey. I love to hear this sped up maybe a few BPM.
Such a pretty sounding track. Great remix. The only thing I would suggest is bring up drum elements a bit in the mix down.
Never heard ambient dub before. Very cool concept. Its like very chill drum and bass. I could see playing this in a lounge.
Awesome track. Sounds like something from MGMT. The vocals are on point and it sounds very danceable.
Love the progressive sound of this track. Sounds almost like something Rush would do.
The drum break you used is pretty cool. Maybe add some variation to it as the track progresses?
I love these melodic build ups. Really contrasts the dub elements of the rest of the track.
This is my favorite part of this track. Very tastefully done. I would play this track out!
Love this breakdown into the dub elements. I def like dub that has more repeating parts and less randomness.
What did you use to get that cool vocal glitch? Sounds pretty sick, I can tell the track is very layered.
Love this lead that is worbly, such a funk and deep sound.
Love the vocals very David Bowie esque. The production sounds pretty solid.
Hard to say what's missing but the mastering makes it sound very flat. Any way you can brighten the sound or add some mid tones?
I hope was hopping for a pronounced drop. Maybe a small pause here?
