    mod eye anvil [disquiet0042-naivemelody]

    (1) the instrument you have used for the longest period of time: electric guitar
    (2) the instrument in your possession that is newest to you: PAL198X (

    The backing track was based on a three chord progression played on guitar. To say it was processed is an understatement. It is a complex signal chain whose end result is the loop you hear. It bears no resemblance to guitar.

    The melody track was an single take improv on the PAL198X. I gently nudged to knobs to create a melody along with an occasional large twist to shake things up. I added effects after the fact. What makes me smile is that this track sounds more like an electric guitar than the other track...

    All of the above was recorded and assembled using Presonus's Studio One which is quickly becoming my DAW of choice.
