When I came down from the mountain I could not see my feet, they were lost in the valley that was dark below me. So I took up my own values and I took up my own beat, but it was lost on the masses as they crowd around me. I said oh why money man? Oh yea done it all before, work, eat, drink, sleep, want it no more. I saw water it was running like a river thru the street, but the life that it gave once it was lost beyond me. So I took what I needed and I took it from the street, but it was lost on the masses as they fell(dead) around me. I said oh why? Money, man. Oh yea done it all before, work, eat, drink, sleep, want it no more. I saw water it was running like a river thru the street, there was blood from the battle as it raged around me. So I took up what I needed and I took it to the street and my strength it amazed me as the battle I seized.

This was written about a few things.........one of which being the destruction of our resources, using water as an example. Water being one of our most precious and misused. But its also about being a slave to the machine that is commerce to the extent that all we do is work, eat, drink and sleep for money. Most of us are spending 90 percent of our time chasing dollars, which is futile and hopeless.
