KCRW's Malcolm Podcast Number 1 with host Eric J. Lawrence

Since the launch of KCRW’s new digital submission system MALCOLM last month, the Los Angeles-based public radio station has received over 2,000 submissions from independent artists hoping to receive airplay.

KCRW Music Librarian and DJ Eric J Lawrence has chosen five of the best songs for the inaugural MALCOLM podcast. It’s a “locals only” edition, with all five featured bands based in Los Angeles.
