Make way, "The Club Princess" is coming through!

Even as a child, music has always been a passion for Kalaysia Drake, the talented Kayy Drizz. From banging on pots and pans, to playing instruments, Kayy's Family had pride and faith that she'd have a bright and successful future. Growing up, Kayy attended her family reunion. Seeing her family dance to what they called, "House Music", Kayy fell in love with the odd rythm . Hearing songs, such as "Down the hill", "Watch out for the big girl, " etc. Kayy became very interested and curious about the unfamiliar genre.

Kayy became a very big supporter of "The Club Queen" Dj K-Swift, and wanted to take her love for music to the next level. She wanted to hear her voice over tracks, dj, and produce her own music. Kayy didn't know where to begin. In her middle school days, when this "club music" started to become very popular, Kayy met a very friendly & special young man who shared the same interest in this genre as well. He goes by Mike Gip. When she first heard Gip's "Stroke it up" track, he produced with his vocals, Kayy became impressed. It was Gip who told her it takes time & patience & if she really has a passion for music, why not give producing a try. Taking his word, Kayy spent countless hours on "Fruity Loops Studio" learning the ropes and getting familiar with the different patterns, kicks, hats, snares, & claps. In a matter of 2 weeks, Kayy produced her first song, "Love like this". It wasn't much, but this girl had potential .

Kayy was always curious when it came down to her learning or hearing about new things that didnt sound familiar to her. After hearing, " It's ya man, Dj Tameil" in multiple songs, Kayy finds out that Tameil is the creator of Jersey Club Music, which had originated in "Brick City" Newark. Kayy started hearing of other producers, such as Tim Dolla which she always had ready in her ipod as well as Dj Jayhood, Dj Sliink, Nadus, & Runnah. Kayy was very impressed and starting looking up to them. If guys can do it, why can't a female who has a passion for music?

Kayy was given the name "The Club Princess" after she released her song, "Delirious" she produced from a zip given to her . After she dropped the track , she began to gain more recognition for her performance in the producing field with her unique style & her slogan, "Taddow!" which you've probably heard in many drops. She'salso known as "Ms Wave Ya Back" from her very first club song , "Wave ya Back" that featured her vocals, & "Cookie's laugh", a song made of her catchy laugh. She has many hits that made it to RunNj.Tv such as "Ass on the floor", her very first collab with "Jersey's Handsome Dj" Mike Gip, "Bend it over remix" ft Tokyo & Dj Elo, "Lay it down", "Pop to the bass", "Heartbroken 2k12" ft Dj Flawless, "Million Dollar Bill Remix" ft Dj Splash & her latest track, "Favor" . Kayy has many more hits up her sleeve that she can't wait to release to the world.

Kayy has collabed with many producers, such as Mike Gip, Dj Tricks, Albyy, Dj Kiff, Dj Flawless, Dj Dru, & many more . She's Dj'd many Teen events, Such as Club Pure in South Amboy, Nj as their very first female Dj. She's also Dj'd With Dj Jayhood, Ciroc Sincere, Dj Splash, Dj Flawless, & many more. Kayy wishes to expand her talent more & live up to the name of "The Club Princess" . She is very thankful for her supporters -- & thanks every single one of them for making her strive to reach her goal . Everyone has a dream they want to achieve, but Kayy not only chases it, she's accomplishing it step by step.
