About

KARST is a collaboration of two electronic music producers coming from different backgrounds, living and working in Berlin. One is a musical mastermind with an instinct for remarkable, but sometimes weird use of harmonies and sounds. The other a media artist and VJ who explores the synesthetic linkage between sound and visuals, approaching the field of music production from the technological side, eager to create new sounds from found material as well as by using various software tools. together, they produce deep, sometimes even humourous tracks of a noisy lowFi quality, suitable for the dancefloor, given an open-minded audience, ironic references to various styles of electronic music provide a diversified listening experience.

@Letsshakehands: hey there, thanks for the comment... youre right, the mix is not the best... we're using mainly samples, are you referring to the bass?

@jymi: check audacity, its a free opensource audio editor, good to quickly edit aufiofiles, not for mastering though...
