The New Devices are Justin Stones (26) and Guz Lally (23). They met randomly at a squat party in East London and immediately had a lengthy argument about music. Rather than promptly forget their meeting and conversation, as is customary following such events, Guz and Justin promised to meet up with clearer heads. The resulting ideas gave birth to The New Devices…

The duo’s lyrics take their cue from those debauched nights, while their production values reflect their origin: energetic dance beats that would rock a dancefloor, huge rock’n’roll choruses that would fill a stadium, soaring punk riffs with infectious electro basslines. As well as writing and producing their own tracks, The New Devices can be heard creating electro-house monsters with their remix duties on Beyonce “Halo” and Jamie Foxx “Blame it”.

Everything Good is the perfect introduction to the band’s sound – edgy, yet uplifting – pulsating synth bass gives way to harsh yet melodic guitar riffs, that chorus…that breakdown…

The track is set to become one of the more memorable hits of this Ibiza season, while the White Isle continues it’s metamorphosis from hippy chic house clubs to the anything goes, cut n paste Ibiza Rocks sound. Mixes on the release come from Juan Kidd, Riva Starr, Streetlife DJs, Jason Herd and so-hot-right-now Japanese Popstars.

Not content with creating the soundtrack, The New Devices are also throwing their own parties starting 6th August at The Cavern, Shoreditch.
