BIOGRAPHY

Crafted In 1982, with German-Arabic roots yet born and bred in Madrid, Spain, Karim Haas commences his musical career at the early age of ten playing drums in several Rock and Jazz bands at school. In late 1998, he discovers electronic music, opening new paths for creative Ideas and merging all previous musical experience. He then decides to submerge deeply in electronic percussion and the House and Techno scene as far as working as a session percussionist for Cristian Varela performing at international music festivals such as "I Love Techno" (Belgium), "Nature One" (Germany), Phrenetic (Spain) amongst a large number of venues nationally and Internationally.

At the end of 2000 he starts organising events with his music collective "Tribal House Company" and "Musik-Vision" focused towards Tribal House music with an avant-garde sound.

The House music influence, as well as his roots have given this DJ/Producer/Percussionist great results at the time of performing at some of the biggest events and venues around the world such as:

Diskoteka (Miami, USA), Indra (Miami, USA), Bar415 (Nebraska, USA), Cirkus (Medellin, Colombia), Wild (Medellin, Colombia), Tuse (Odessa, Ukrania), Alibabar (Guayaquil, Ecuador), Piraña (Guayaquil, Ecuador) Area51 (Miami, USA), Platinium (Rabatt, Marrocco), The Image Club (Bilbao, Spain), Kapital (Madrid, Spain) , Fabrik (Madrid, Spain), Radical (Madrid, Spain), People Club (Madrid, Spain), Heaven (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain), Circulo Culture Club (Vitoria, Spain), Aixa Galiana (Leon, Spain), Pacha (Madrid, Spain), Pacha (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, España) amongst many other appearances in the electronic music scene.

Karim has been involved in production work since 1998 working for renowned labels such as Donkey Head Recordings, House Works, Matinee Group, Sun Coast Sound, Meridional Recordings, Outta Limits, T.U.S.O.M., Red Hammer, Caresse, Origami and his recently created own label "Synergy Recordings", with which he will have a lot to say conveying his utmost musical expressiveness to date.

His tunes have been included in well respected artist sessions such as of Marco Bailey and Cristian Varela and featured in major compilations such as Tribal Sessions, Space of Sound un 10+2, House Coast, Unmixed Underground, T.U.S.O.M 2006, House from Home Vol.2, Amnesia Ibiza DJ Session vol.3, Matinee Group Summer 2007.

Far from limiting himself in one musical genre, his sessions include the freshest House music, electro, progressive house and traces of Trance and at all times led by powerful grooves.

The performances of this Producer/DJ/Percussionist are something out of the ordinary since Karim Hass is one of the very few that perform live percussion while DJing always transmitting a sense of heightened musical experience.
