Started in the late 2007,in the heart of Quebec, Montreal; Karim was one half of the duo Juba&Nelson,who were inspired by the sounds of tech trance productions .Producers like Markus schulz (Coldharbour sessions) ,Kyau vs Albert, Menno de Jong Markus Schultz, Sander Van Doorn, JOC were among their top interests. In 2008, However, J & N's taste shifted to a new style which combined Progressive House and some melodic tech house. After having experienced and fluently mixed these different genres, the duo skilfully added Techno and dark tech house to their library. Their past sets build into a nice flow starting off with some deep and techy sounds moving all the way up to techno and some progressive. J & N also hosted several gigs at nightclubs in Montreal including venues such as: KOKO Lounge, Time , Karma, Business Lounge & Tapas...

Karim is currently working on a solo project, a beattunes exclusive called "Decks and the City". The sets would mix the latest in underground deep and tech house. Main influences: Carlo Lio, Eelke Kleijn, Seth Troxler, Silicon Soul, Maceo Plex and many more. Stay tuned for upcoming mixes.
