@guydale: you had me worried there for a minute! No, it isn't...I was told by the person who made it that the sample is from a traditional Gagaku piece - which is the genre of traditional Japanese music that Takemitsu was inspired by with In An Autumn Garden, so the instrumentation and tonality is very similar.

great stuff neil....this isn't takemitsu is it...in an autumn garden?or probably just the same instrument?
