Kaia Wilson is a musician from Portland, Oregon, best known as a founding member of both Team Dresch, a revered 1990's queercore punk band, and The Butchies, a pop-rock spin-off from her solo work. In addition to singing, songwriting and guitar, Wilson co-established and operated Mr. Lady Records from 1996-2004. She plays lead guitar with Amy Ray (Indigo Girls) from 2001-present. Kaia has been a barista and a landscaper in addition to music, as well as a HUGE fan of animals, she even likes snakes and most insects. And she's a competitive table tennis player - Gold and Bronze medals at Gay Games in Cologne Germany 2010!
