Dizzy Funk Music's second release continues the labels impressive start with more deep, funky jacking house from Nottingham free party legends Kinky Movement. The 'Nervous EP' delivers four tracks of their signature sound and energy with vocal samples and strutting baselines creating the energies and grooves that have seen the trio DJ around the globe. Three original tracks are complimented by a remix from Dizzy Funk Music boss Sean Dizzyfunk. His remix of 'Can't Hold Me Down' serves up a bumpin baseline and classic house vibes to perfectly wrap up this exciting second instalment on the label.
Kinky Movement are the long-established trio of DJ/Producers Andrew Mcloughlin, Lee Eden and John Symms from Nottingham. UK. They have been releasing their music on the worlds top house labels since 2004 including Tango, Drop Music, Amenti, So Sound and more. In 2007 Andy and Eden launched their own label Replay Recordings and in 2010 their sub label called Re-edit. When Kinky Movement are not in the studio they are busy Dj’ing and have performed around the world in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, U.S, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Belgium and many more.
Sean Dizzyfunk is a DJ and music maker from the Midlands, UK and has been playing house music at events throughout the UK and Europe since the late 80s. In the late 90s he opened the Groove Records store in his hometown of Peterborough and in 2001 he was a founding member of the Dizzy Funk Soundsystem, putting on outdoor parties and club nights featuring regular guest DJ's from the legendary free-party soundsystems Smokescreen, Babble and DiY. Sean currently hosts the fortnightly ‘Dizzy Funk’ show on MHYH Radio.
In 2012 Sean launched Dizzy Funk Music, a new digital record label with a healthy release scheduled lined up featuring tracks by himself, Kinky Movement, Special Interest and Kel Quadrant, with remixes by Toka Project, Steve Littlemen, Da Sunlounge and Craig Hamilton.
