K. Sparks is a rap artist, music producer, and ghost writer that has inked and crafted several songs for various artist. K. Sparks truly embodies the term “Real Hip Hop”.  With his passionate tone, and sincere lyrics, it is very clear that he is destined to be one of Hip Hop’s future stars. 


He was born in the area of South Jamaica Queens New York to a family that instilled the basic values of hard work in him. Growing up he always knew he was destined to be an artist “I would write lyrics in my classes…by the end of the day I would have about 5 songs”. 


At the age of 15 he started performing in various talent venues and began to create a buzz for himself within the Queens area.  After a while K. Sparks later began recording several original songs. To date he has been featured on over 400 mixtapes, released 10 Albums, and 20 Mixtapes.  K. Sparks’ second mixtape generated such a buzz over seas that he was nominated for the best new mixtape release of the year award in London. 



K. Sparks then went on to become 1 of 10 finalist in DJ Green Lanterns Freestyle competition and featured on MTV Mixtape Mondays twice. As K. Sparks buzz continued to grow this caused his talents to be recognized by BET. A few months later BET nominated K. Sparks as their BET artist of the month. Continuing his reign in the underground K. Sparks started an online viral monthly series entitled Manic Mondays. For Manic Mondays K. Sparks released a new original song to the Internet every Monday for an entire year which increased his fan base to large amounts.


K. Sparks went on to become featured in The Source Magazine Unsigned Hype Column, Rap Fanatic Magazine, and featured on over 1,000 websites such as MTV, BET, okayplayer, DJ Booth, 2 DopeBoyz, Kevin Nottingham, Nah Right, Baller Status, All HipHop, HipHopDX, Sohh, URB, iHipHop, iLLRoots, Hip Hop Lead, Im Flashy, YnotMyDream, ReUp Spot and countless others.



In 2005 K. Sparks incorporated his own music production and song writing company Double Up Entertainment. The company is based in the state of Delaware with offices located in New York, Connecticut, California, and Texas. 



Double Up Entertainment has produced and arranged several songs for various artist within the music industry, and continues to stretch the boundaries of conventional music. With his unique song writing abilities, and roster of talented artist/producers, K. Sparks is definitely a future star
on the rise.
