J. Whitman's career in the entertainment industry spans over several years in his native home of Los Angeles, California. His credits include numerous stage productions, multiple self-produced records, and several volunteer work experiences.
In 2007, he wrote & independently released his first single: "Metro (feat. Samurai MX)". In 2009, "Metro" was nominated for an Independent Music Award (Best Dance Song), he released his first LP record ("Revolution Rising"), and he received a Certificate of Recognition from the USA Honor Society.
2010 saw the birth of "Not of This World", a collaboration between J. Whitman & Canadian artist/producer Adam Pearson. "Not of This World" first appeared on their joint release record, "Illuminations - EP". After some remastering by J. Whitman, it was released in 2011 on his next full-length record, "Full Spectrum", and gave Adam Pearson featured credit. "Not of This World" went on to compete in the Dodge "Inspired by You" contest in 2012. It received 92 downloads during the competition. Since then, "Not of This World" has received regular airplay at ChristianIndustrial.net and EDA Music Radio.
In 2013, J. Whitman's remix of "Rip My Heart Out" by Dethcentrik was played on the air during the Nachtlich Industrial Internet Radio podcast at TapDetroit.com. This remix has also received 134 views on YouTube.
