Getting my feet wet (again) with Ableton Live. I took samples from Steph's Prairie Lullaby recording and Steve's Midday Bells to make something new.
Such a lovely job, Sir!
@carianoff: Thanks. I have a handful of iPhone Garageband demos I should post.

It's been too long, hope you have more soon.
Love this subtle sharp wavy thinger under here.
Is that who I think it is?
I'm assuming that is you, mike? Lame that Soundcloud can't allow sharing of private tracks with Soundcloud users. Unless I'm just missing it somewhere.
I fail for having soundcloud updates come to my subscribe folder.
I fail for never checking my subscribe folder.
Why am I just hearing this now.
I failed, you won, steph wins, steve wins
Thanks for listening and for all the comments. Nice to hear that it's making sense as a track. I might have to ask you guys for some more samples so I can do this again.
Beautiful stuff. Really, really love the languid winteryness of this track. Also, it's fun to hear something for the first time, yet feel somehow like it's an old friend because of the familiar elements. (this is Steph, by the way--email weirdness with the login)
Adore how the ending settles so lushly.
love this ending too. the whole track makes a nice progression. You end in a different emotional space then when you start, but the evolution takes you there logically. Well done! More please! ;)
the wavering synth work here is well chosen
this snare is sweet. it's a nice punch to contrast the sweeping elements around it
love the hi hat coming in here
