About
Junior Aspirin Records is an independent record label run by Andy Cooke (London), Dan Fox (New York), Ashley Marlowe (Brighton) and Nathaniel Mellors (Amsterdam). Founded in London in 2002, the label releases music by a divergent number of artists, and produces an occasional series of podcasts and videos.
With feet in both the visual arts and music, the label has taken part in several exhibitions, including Nought to Sixty (ICA, London, 2007), Fun Palace (Centre Pompidou, Paris, 2010) and, most recently, Nathaniel Mellors’s Ourhouse (ICA, London, 2011).
New releases include The Race Against Time Hots Up by The Rebel, Socrates That Practiçes Music’s debut LP BAT and Invisible Polytechnic’s recording of Terry Riley’s In C.
