I have always loved dub, dancehall, roots, African and tropical sounds. To me, the bass speaks, the rhythm drives the song, the melodies are accents for the dub. I am always trying to bring out the soul in the music, even though it is made on a computer. The music always needs a human touch, especially styles of Jamaican music! I try to play in as many of the sounds as i can, and minimize the use of sample. I work in Ableton and use the effects to pull out the craziest sounds i can!

My setup is simple, for i have no home, i travel. I just have my laptop, an Impulse 25, an iPad running Lemur and enough plug-ins to keep the dubs hot! HOWEVER... I do not play the loudness war and limit the f*ck out of my tracks, i would rather keep the complexity of the sounds, so you may have to turn them up a bit for full effect! Jah!!!
