13 yrs after l came home from Nam, still shuddering and smelling Nam, at the sound of a Chopper, and bewildered at what the fark we were doing there, the Faucklands War happened, and just watching , saddly, the troops huddled up in the ships , off to war, and the overall conflict, just for once l forgot the politics of Nam, and remembered the mateship, and survival, and being just a soldier. Also , the fact it was just 2 countries going at it, not 10 against one like these days, and the past. My respect and memories go out to both sides, it was a bit selfish of me at the time to grasp some reason of war out of it all, but it was true. l especially , as l was a sapper, think of the 40 or more British sappers that lost limbs , clearing mine fields. l think l had that right. Anyway, parts of the song are in Spanish to show my respect for all the soldiers, and there families, not the politics. On this l played my Coco Telly, shakers, congas, harp, bass and vocal. The way l ended the song is to have the feel, that its still going on , people are still being killed.....for what, a big question with a thousand answers. Peace.
