Janice Kwan, musically known as Juliana's Daughter, is an independent singer-songwriter from Toronto.
As infectious a conversation piece as cats are, Juliana's Daughter has silenced rowdy party-hungry bars with her as infectiously raw voice. Soothing, intense, melancholic yet hopeful, her song and poetry is a heartfelt contradiction taking on influences of old and new. Hints of Corinne Bailey Rae, Nellie McKay, Fiona Apple, and Ingrid Michaelson woven with the likes of whom she idolizes as "The Three Queens: Billie, Dinah and Ella" frame her wistfully honest sound.
