Julia Govor was born in USSR Abhazia, grew up in Kuban and became a DJ, producer, and singer in Moscow. She is a tinny little woman with big yes and sensitive ears.

 By the age of 14 years, Julia was the most popular DJ in her small city, where she grew up making mixes with tape decks.

"Moscow, is the same as our country side town" - said her sailor father: "but just a bit  bigger" - she went on a long voyage in search of herself.

Julia began a career in Moscow as a controversial TV host, but she quickly realized that she needed to give herself to music.

 For 6 years Julia speaks to the audience as a DJ - with her individual style and charisma.

 Adoring a deep sound was her first delight, then she was led into a harder rhythm that felt natural.  Her development is owed to all those who helped in creating her refined ear.

She is a resident in Moscow's Vanilla Ninja and Mendeleev Bar.  Govor had a breakthrough in the field of dance music business through her summer hit "Alice" signed to the American Visionquest label.

 Julia lives in Moscow-Berlin-New York and is writing her first full length album with producer and husband Kamran Sadeghi.  She also continues to promote unknown musicians with her collaboration with Moscow's Thierry Tomas.
