My Biography

DJ Juic-e is a true underground success story. This DJ and Producer came up from the streets of London. Jason Garside was born in Beckenham (London) and was brought up in Bromley from 0-12 yrs, then moved to Sevenoaks in Kent (The Garden of England) where he found his passion at an early age. Music has been around him since before he was born, his “mum” is a massive reggae fan so there’s a big influence with that genre in his music.


When living in Sevenoaks he got his first pair of record decks (Sound labs) and from there his musical journey began. He received some hard house records along with the decks which allowed for him to practice his craft. Unfortunately Dj Juic-e went down the wrong path to make money (enough said) for new turntables and got into trouble with the police, was forced to move out of his family home but got the opportunity to live with his “nan” in Mottingham, London. Here he found some time and space to think about his future. At that time he was getting into Drum & Bass and was trying to get a job to save up for a new DJ set up. The years went on and his family moved away to a town called Longfield where he was reunited with his mum and family and he moved back in and started experimenting with producing music on his computer in his spare time.


Juic-e claims among his fondest memories were riding up and down on the London trains all day just messing around and listening to pirate radio. Dj Juic-e says these times on the train were among the best in his life because he could totally chill out and enjoy being a kid without parents telling them what to do and focus on music.


Dj Juic-e started promoting himself and uploading his music to Soundcloud as well as doing house parties for friends and family. Soon after he went on to start his own event called “Music Appreciation Nights” in a wine cellar underneath a pub in Westerham. This venue took off and got him local fame as a DJ and a solid following. Dj Juic-e prides himself on his work ethic producing a new fresh track daily for the world and posts them on Soundcloud. He also performs full DJ mixes and posts them on Mixcloud for the whole world to enjoy. His newest releases are available exclusively on Beatport and can be found on all digital download sites. He is a true self-taught talent and becoming a break through sensation on Beatport.
