        @Silverfish: thanks - that's actually plain jane off the shelf big square lead in ableton's instrument rack. that was one of those deals where you know exactly what the lead should sound like and you just keep hitting the hot swap until you get it

  A "just for fun" (that was the original project title) track composed February 2009. This project uses the free Novaflash Oxytocin VST plugin for bass, Ableton's "Big Square Lead" for the lead, some AL6 packaged drums and a quick hit sample from the intro to Prince's "Can't Stop This Feeling...

        @Silverfish: tx again - funny how this one came about - i started off using the built in arpeggiator on the vst and trying to program it. I finally got so frustrated with it I just said heck with it and started writing a melody - I have no idea how I got to what you hear but I played it back and I thought hey that's kinda nice...

        @YtseK: tx for comment - agree on mix - one of my weaker points...I'm going to rework the bass per some of tarekith's comments and repost - i think the lead is okay byt sometimes the bass gets lost from lack of stereo width or whatever else.
