    Born and raised in the city of Amsterdam, JPO developed an interest in electronic produced dance music and he soon made contact with the underground music scene.
    Which lead to the following:

    Soundcollector on Radio 100/ De Vrije Keizer @ Amsterdam/The Netherlands, in the early eighties

    Beat- and loopproducing on Teac Reeltapedecks in the early eighties: cut&paste with actual knife&sticky tape :)

    Reviewer for Slam Magazine(records) & Go Magazine(records & events) in the late nineties.

    Deejay-ing on vinyls since the mid nineties, also on Traktor since 2008.

    First danceparty ever:
    Disco Hippies on Acid (1988), strobo's, mirrors, smoke and a lot of Acid House and Acid in a former vault of a bank on the Haarlemmerdijk in Amsterdam.
