Joslyn-Marie is a female singer-songwriter born and raised on the south side of Chicago. She started singing at five, but her career had already started to begin at the age of nine when she joined Flamingo Productions. During her time there she performed showcases at popular venues such as the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel, and Drury Lane. While in high school she studied under decorated opera singer, Alfreda Burke. From Mrs. Burke, she learned to compliment her natural vocal talent, and influence from vocalists like Whitney Huston and Etta James, with a strong classical background. Joslyn still continues with her musical endeavors by singing on stage any chance she can and helping producers when the opportunity arises. She recently sang on the track “Socket” by Chicago hip-hop artist Sneak, which was featured on radio station WGCI. While not on the stage, or lending a hand in the studio, Joslyn uses her spare time to work in the studio and has recently released her demo Prolouge.
